Whether you need a single dataset, continuous updates, developer APIs or a bespoke enterprise solution, DataSteak has a purchasing model that fits your business - because different data products carry different value.
Every product chooses the pricing model that makes sense. Some datasets are purchased once. Others are continuously updated through subscriptions. APIs scale with usage. Enterprise solutions are tailored to your organisation.
Purchase an individual dataset, dashboard, template or report with a single payment. No subscription required - each product sets its own price.
Get refreshed datasets automatically, with new records and version upgrades included as the data changes. Ideal for anything you track over time.
Pull a dataset straight into your own systems over HTTP instead of downloading a file. Arranged per dataset against your account, with the edition date on every response so you only pull when something has changed.
Custom datasets, data enrichment, private APIs, internal integrations, managed pipelines and data consulting - licensed and quoted around your business. For many organisations this is the deepest, most valuable way to work with DataSteak.
What you can do with what you buy - in plain English.
Most datasets include a commercial licence, so you can use them inside your products and reports. Exact terms are shown on each product.
Subscription products will receive continuous updates - new records, corrections and version upgrades - for as long as the subscription is active. Subscriptions are not open yet; every product today is a one-off purchase.
The file you buy is yours to keep and use under its licence, with no expiry on the data itself. The download link is a different thing: it stays active for 30 days and up to 5 downloads, so save your copy when you get it. Set out in full on the terms page.
Larger organisations can arrange custom licensing - redistribution, internal-wide use, private data rights and more, tailored to your needs.
Not plans - methods. Choose how you want to access the data, then apply it to any product.

Buy Once is the only method you can complete on the site today. Enterprise work is quoted and delivered by hand. Subscription and API are in build - the columns show what they will do, not what they do now.
VAT and invoices. Every price on this site includes UK VAT at 20%. The price you see is the amount you pay, never a figure with tax added at the end, and checkout shows the split before you commit. A VAT invoice is raised and emailed automatically on every purchase, so a UK VAT-registered business has what it needs to reclaim the VAT without asking us for anything. Buying from outside the UK? See where we sell first.
Individual product pricing varies depending on the dataset, update frequency, licensing and delivery method.
Every one of these is a single payment and the file is yours. Prices include UK VAT, and what you see is what you pay. The marketplace has the rest.
Yes - most datasets include a commercial licence so you can use them inside your own products, analysis and client work. The exact terms are shown on each product page before you buy.
Every product on sale today is a one-time purchase, delivered as the data stood on the date shown on the product page. Subscriptions that refresh automatically are still being built, so nothing you buy right now updates itself.
Partly. If you start with a one-time purchase and later need programmatic access, we can turn the API on for that dataset against your account - ask us and we will arrange it. Subscriptions that refresh automatically are still being built, so that half of the answer is still "not yet".
Yes. Every price on the site includes UK VAT at 20%, so the figure on a product page is the figure you pay. Nothing is added at the end. Checkout shows the breakdown - the net amount, the VAT and the total - before you commit to anything. If you are a UK VAT-registered business you can normally reclaim the VAT shown.
Yes, automatically. A proper VAT invoice is raised on every purchase and emailed to you when payment goes through - not a receipt, but a document carrying our VAT number and the tax breakdown, which is what your accounts need. It is addressed to the billing details you enter at checkout, so put your company name and address there if you are buying for a business. Need another copy? Email support with your order reference.
Data is delivered instantly, so the usual 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase ends the moment you download the file. Before you download, you can cancel for a full refund. After that, if a dataset is not as described, tell us and we will correct it or refund you. The full position is on the terms page.
Yes. Tell us what you need and we'll source, clean, verify and prepare a bespoke cut - available as a one-off delivery or an ongoing enterprise pipeline.
Yes. Custom licensing, private APIs, internal-wide use and managed pipelines are all available for larger organisations, quoted individually around your requirements.
Each product page shows when its source was last processed. Nothing on the site is a live feed today - a dataset is rebuilt when the publisher releases a new snapshot, which for Companies House is monthly. Scheduled refreshes and subscriptions that push the new version to you are still to come.
From bespoke datasets to enterprise integrations, we'll help build a solution around your business - sourced, licensed and delivered to spec.
